It was already 12 p.m., and in the Deshmukh house in Bandra, everyone was busy with their work - decorating the house for the birthday celebration of the youngest member of the family, Arohi (Aru), a 3-year-old girl. She was the most loved member of the family.

Arohi had gone to school, and meanwhile, everyone was preparing the decorations. Everything was arranged according to Arohi's liking. Since she loved the color pink, the whole house was filled with it - pink balloons, pink ribbons, fairy lights... even the cake-cutting table was set up in a cute pink theme.

"Aree, sab ho gaya ya nahin?" Anuradha Deshmukh, Raghav's Anu Kaku, asked tiredly as she struggled to pump air into the balloons..

"Haa bass ho gaya " Vishwanath Deshmukh , Raghav's Vishnu Kaka , said while setting the cake-cutting table.

"Aree, Bass thoda se balloon fugana hai phir Tera kaam ho jaayega Anu" Raghav's mother, Savita Deshmukh said while fixing the ribbon on its place...

"Aho vo tape to dena jara" Savita asked Raghav's father Madhav Deshmukh who was cutting pieces of tape so that they can get tape easily..

"Ha ha Ye lo" Madhav gave one piece of tape to Savita and she took it and stick the ribbon.

"𝗔𝗮𝗷𝗶 𝗻𝗼. 1 , 𝗔𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗯𝗮 𝗻𝗼. 1 !!!!"

They all stopped their work and look where this voice came from.. They all the birthday girl.. Arohi.. Their Aru.. She was wearing a uniform, a  cute bottle was tied around her neck, an adorable handkerchief pinned neatly to her uniform shirt with a safety pin.. Her hair tied into two cute pigtails. She was looking adorable.

Everyone smiled looking at her.. She ran to her Aajoba no. 1 ( Madhav Deshmukh ) and kissed his cheeks..

"Aajoba no. 1 yeh sab aap logo ne kab Kiya ?" Arohi asked being curious seeing the decoration..

"Are beta yeh sab to subah se chal raha hai jabse tum school gayi ho" Anu Kaku said tiredly while filling air in last balloon..

Arohi's mother came while carrying her daughter's bag and basket.. She smiled while looking at granddaughter and grandfather love...

"Aru bala kya tumne chocolates apne Friends mein baatein??" Asked Vishwanath coming towards them..

" Haa Ajoba no. 2 maine sab mein chocolates baati aur meri best friend Anvi ne to mujhe gift bhi diya" Arohi said showing her bracelet which was gifted by her best friend Anvi..

" Aree waa bala , Anvi ne kitna achha gift Diya hai" exclaimed Savita seeing her granddaughter's gift..

Arohi proudly showed her bracelet making everyone giggle seeing her cuteness..

" Aru chalo abhi fresh ho jaao uske baad tumhe ready bhi to hona hai n tumhari birthday party ke liye " Priya Deshmukh ( Arohi's mother) said while keeping Arohi's lunch bag and bag on dinning table..

" Ha ha beta chalo jaldi jaldi fresh ho jaao aur lunch kar lo tab tak ham baaki ki tayyari karte hai " Madhav said while keeping Arohi down.

Arohi went with her mother to get fresh..After a few minutes she came out wearing a cute frock... Now everyone was free from their work..

Madhav and Savita were sitting on the large sofa , Arohi was sitting in between of Madhav and Savita , Vishwanath and Anuradha were sitting on other two sofas.

" Hash sara decoration khatam ho gaya , ab bass party hone ka intezar hai.. " Said Anuradha while breathing out.

"Haa par party ko to ab bohot time hai " said Vishwanath.

" Time to hai , akhir party 5 baje jo hai " Madhav said looking at everyone...

" Achha hai n Aajoba no. 1 hame achhe se tayar hone ka time mil jaayega aur Raghav kaka bhi tab tak aa jaayenge unke hospital se " Arohi said being excited to celebrate her birthday especially with her Crime partner Raghav Kaka...

" Haa haa beta Raghav kaka aa jayenge tab tak , Akash Kaka (Raghav's younger cousin brother) aur Pooja Aatya ( Raghav's younger cousin sister who is twin sister of Akash ) yeh dono bhi aa jayenge tab tak.." Savita said smiling

" Haa tab to aur maja aayega Aaji no. 1" said Arohi.

" Aur tumhari bestfriend bhi to aayegi na Aru.. Aur hamari Sunshine colony ke bachhe bhi to aane wale hai.. Bohot maja aayega beta aaj " Anuradha said while giving hi-fi to Arohi..

In the kitchen Priya was cooking for everyone.. She was making rotis for everyone..

" Aai Baba , Khana tayar hai aap sab aa jaiye" Priya shouted from kitchen...

" chalo chalo Aru Khana khane.. " Arohi's Aajoba no. 2 said while everyone moved towards dinning table..

The dinning But everything was ready, on one side there was cauliflower vegetable and on the other side there was dal. There was rice in one.. a glass of milk for Arohi..

Priya begin to serve everyone.. after serving everyone she sath beside Arohi to feed her.. Though she could eat by her own but Priya loved to feed her Baby Arohi....

~ 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆

It had already passed 5 pm... As soon as everything was ready, all the guests started arriving When all the guests arrived , first of all they wished Arohi.. She thanked everyone.. Most of them were childrens of their colony only few of them were elderly people...

Arohi's eyes were glued on the main door , waiting for her Favourite Raghav Kaka.. Everyone else had already arrived — even Pooja and Akash — but there was still no sign of Raghav.

Sandeep Deshmukh ( Raghav's Sandyy bhaiya) Standing near Arohi wearing a white shirt and black pants , Priya stood beside them wearing a baby pink saree.. Arohi Wore her White frock gifted by her Both Aajobas and Aajis...

Suresh (Shankar's friend) also came with his wife.. He first greeted Madhav with a warm hug..

" Aree yaar Madhav bohot dino baad milna hua nayi !" Suresh said while breaking the hug..

" Ha yaar , ab kaha milna hota hai , bass aise hi ocassion par milna hota hai " Madhav said sighing.

" Namaste Bhaishab " Suresh's wife greeted Madhav while joining hands.. Madhav greeted her back..

" Hmm , Aree Arohi bala Happy Birthday " Suresh slightly bending to reach Arohi's height.

Arohi bend and took blessings from Suresh, Suresh kept hand over head and gave her blessings..

" Khush raho beta " Said Suresh while smiling

" Thank You Aajoba " Arohi said Smiling widely..

Arohi went to her friends

" Badi pyaari poti hai Madhav teri , aur uske sanskar bhi kitne achhe hai , bilkul tujh par gayi hai " Suresh said making Madhav smile.

" Haa bass jiddi bohot hai uski Aaji no. 1 ki tarah " Madhav said eyeing his wife , Savita Deshmukh.

" Kya kaha aapne ?" Savita said giving a glare to Madhav Deshmukh. Everyone laughed seeing her reaction.

"Are are , maine to kuch nahi kaha.. Suresh tu bata tune kuch suna ?" Madhav said panicking.

"Are nahi nahi , Vahini aapka vehem hoga" Suresh said laughing hesitantly.

Savita gave last glare to Madhav and went to kitchen for bringing cake.

"Hash.. Bach Gaya" Madhav sighed while keeping his hand on his chest.

"Kya bhaisahab aap bhi. apni patni se darte hai" Suresh's wife said laughing

"Ab yeh baat aap Suresh se puchiye " Madhav said smiling

" Are are yeh sab chordo chalo cake cutting karte hai" Suresh said while moving fast towards the cake-cutting table.

Everyone gathered near the table , all were waiting for Arohi to cut the cake , but she was just standing there with knife in her hand. Sandeep eyed Priya and raised his eyebrows to ask Priya what happened. Priya nodded him and asked Arohi.

"Aru , beta what happened ? why are you not cutting the cake?" Priya asked her while bending.

"Aai , Abhi tak Raghav Kaka nahi aaye na , vo kab aayenge , aaj bhi itna late kar diya unhone , ab jab tak vo nahi aayenge tab tak main cake nahi katungi !" Arohi announced making everyone shock.

"Aru bala aisa nahi bolte , Kaka ko urgent kaam hoga n isiliye unko thoda late ho raha hai aane ke liye " Priya explained her calmly.

" Haa bala , Kaka ke urgent patients aa gaye honge isiliye thoda time lag gaya hoga , tum cake cut karlo , dekhi tumhare Friends wait kar rahe tumhe gift dene ke liye " said Madhav.

" Par Aajoba no. 1 Kaka ko pata hai n Aaj Mera birthday hai phir bhi late kar rahe hai " Arohi said with a pout.

" Bala aa jayenge tere Kaka , tum cake cut karlo " said Savita.

" Par Aaji---"

" Bala , aise Zidd nahi karte , aa jayenge Kaka tum cake to kato " said Sandeep

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝘂𝘂

Everyone looked in the direction from where this sound came. They saw Raghav standing at the door in his white coat and the stethoscope he had a stick around his neck . He had two three balloons in his one hand , in the other he had a gift box..

He came forward, Arohi ran to him hugged his leg.. He kept the gift box on near table. he picked her up and kissed her cheeks..

"So sorry bala , main aaj late ho gaya " Said Raghav making sorry face.

"Areee koi baat nahi kaka , mujhe pata hai aap bohot busy the kaam mein , yaha sab bol rahe the ki tere Kaka ko aane de phir cake cut karna par maine bhi bol diya ki Kaka aate hi honge bichare busy honge apne kaam mein " Arohi said explaining

" Ha ha bala pata hai , tune to koi zidd ki hi nahi hogi , ki Kaka aane ke baad hi cake cut karungi , yeh sab log ki zidd kar rahe the nahi " Raghav said controlling his laugh , everyone laughed..

"Achha chalo chalo sab ab cake cut karte hai " Said Madhav..

Everyone again gathered near the table and Raghav kept Arohi down and she went to the table and stood between her parents..
