Everyone was present and waiting for Arohi to cut her cake.. Arohi stood between her parents.. They both bent down and caught Arohi.. Arohi took a deep breath and blew  the candle making the room burst with cheers and claps...

Sandeep and Priya held Arohi's hand and helped her to cut her cake.. everyone clapped loudly..

"Happy Birthday Aru" Madhav said cheerfully and clapped like a small kid..

Arohi cut a piece of cake and fed it to her mother , then she fed the same piece of cake to her father.. Then she cut another piece of cake and went straight to her beloved Raghav Kaka to feed him cake..

"Kaka Aa bolo Aa" while saying this Arohi was looking adorable..

Everyone giggled , watching the love shared between Raghav Kaka and his sweet little Arohi.. Raghav bent on his one knee and opened his mouth with a 𝘈𝘢..

Laughter filled the room , everyone was busy eating Samosa , jalebi and cake.. All the kids were talking about their games and sharing laughter between them... All the elders sat on chairs , discussing some political matters... while the ladies were busy serving the guests...

"Bhaiii kuch bhi ho , Mahadev teri poti hai bohot pyari " Suresh once again complimented Arohi..

"Haa vo to hai.." Madhav said while admiring his little granddaughter Arohi who was busy discussing some topics with her colony friends..

"Tu bohot naseeb wala hai Madhav ki tera pura pariwar tere sath hai varna aaj kal to sab alag alag rehna shuru kar diye hai " said Suresh..

"Hmm , bass ab jaldi se jaldi mere Raghav ki Shadi ho jaaye bass " Madhav said looking at Raghav who was busy talking with his elder brother Sandeep..

Just then , Suresh remembered the morning conversation he had with Shankar...

" Aree to der kiss baat ki , koi achhi si ladki dhundh le aur kar de uski shadi " Suresh said with a bright smile..

"Aree Ladki dhundhna koi chocolate dhundne jaisa kaam nahi hai , kitna sab dhyan mein rakhna padta hai , Ladki kaisi hai ? uska pariwar kaisa hai ? kya kaam karti hai ? hamare ghar mein bahu ban kar aayi to sab thik se sambhal paayegi ya nahi ? yeh sab chizo ko dhyan mein rakh kar faisla hota hai " Madhav explained to Suresh..

Suresh smiled and said

" Aree tu tension mat le , mere dimag mein hai ek ladki jo Khud bhi bohot achhi hai aur ek achhe pariwar se aati hai " Suresh said with a smile..

" Achha!! Kon hai vo ladki ?" Asked Madhav

" Main jiss colony mein rehta hoon na vaha Shankar Joshi naam ka ek admi hai ussi ki beti hai Vaidehi Joshi, Primary school teacher hai , bohot hi pyaari bachhi hai , shant aur saral swabhav hai uska , agar uski shadi Raghav se hoti hai to dono bohot khush rahenge " Said Suresh..

"Achha... to meri baat Kara na Shankar ji se " Said Madhav

" Ha ha kyu nahi , main tujhe uska phone number deta hu , tu usse baat karle aur kab milna hai vo fix karle.. " Suresh said while taking out his phone..

" Yeh le yeh raha Shankar ka number" Suresh said giving his phone to Madhav..

Madhav wrote the number in his diary..

" Party khatam hone ke baad call karta hoon Shankar ji ko " said Madhav.... " Aur Ha thank you Suresh teri madad ke liye".. Madhav thanked him..

" Aree kaisi baatein kar raha hai.. isme thank you kya hai.. main bass dono bachho ka achha chahta hoon aur kuch nahi.. " Suresh said with a light smile..

The party was over , everyone went to their home , All decorations were removed and everything was cleaned up.. All the family members were in their room except Priya and Savita.. They were preparing dinner for everyone..

Madhav was in his room , sitting on the balcony, thinking about Raghav , After  a while ,  he took out his phone and diary , he dialled Shankar's number and waited for the call to connect.. After a few rings Shankar received the call.

"Hello?" Shankar said.

"Hello.. Kya aap Shankar Joshi ji baat kar rahe hai ?" Madhav asked , confirming whether he dialled to right person or not.

"Jii Main Shankar Joshi baat kar raha hoon.. Aap kaun ? " Shankar asked.

" Ji main Madhav Deshmukh , vo darasal mujhe aapka number mere dost Suresh ne diya tha " Madhav said

" Ji ji Kahiye kya baat thi " Shankar said

" Ji vo Suresh bata raha tha ki aapki ek beti hai Vaidehi Joshi , aap uska rishta tay kar rahe hain.. to mera yeh sochna hai ki ham dono families ko ek baar baithak mein milna chahiye… taaki hum bachchon ki shaadi ke baare mein aage ki baat fix kar saken " Madhav said carefully using his words..

" Ji ji kyu nahi , to aap hi bataiye kab milna hai " Shankar asked.

"Ji parso Sunday hai to sabko chutti hogi to parso ki date fix karte hain " Madhav said

" Ji thik hai , aap sab log hamare ghar aa jaiyega " Shankar said

" Ji thik hai , Dhanyawad " Madhav said with a bright smile.

" Ji ji Shukriya " Shankar said and kept the call..

Madhav relaxed, he thought

𝘢𝘣 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘦𝘬 𝘣𝘢𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘬 𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘳𝘦 𝘬𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘬𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘬𝘬𝘪 𝘩𝘰 𝘫𝘢𝘢𝘺𝘦 𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘳 𝘬𝘰𝘪 𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘩𝘪..

~𝗔𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗵𝗶'𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲

" Aho kiska phone tha ?" Sunanda asked Shankar who was smiling widely..

"Aree tumhe bataya to tha n Suresh ke khass dost ke baare mein jisse vo hamari aur unke bete ki shadi ki baat karne wala tha " Shankar said , Sunanda nodded.

"Haa to ussi khass dost yani Madhav Deshmukh ji ka phone tha , vo keh rahe the ki hame milna chahiye aur baat karni chahiye" Shankar said.

"Hash ! Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukar hai" Sunanda said joining her hands and praying to God.... " Achha to kab aa rahe hai vo log?" Sunanda asked.

" Parso, Sunday ko , Sabko chutti rahegi aur ham log aram se baat kar sakte hai " Shankar said smiling.

" Haa main Vaidu ko batati hu" Sunanda got up but Shankar held her hand and stopped her..

" Aree ruko , abhi kuch der mein khana khane ka waqt ho jayega tabhi sath mein baat kar lenge " Shankar said

" Haa yeh bhi thik hai " Sunanda said.

They both smiled and Prayed to God for the well being of their daughter..

~ 𝗔𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝘃'𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲

It was 8 o'clock and all the family members were gathered at the dining table to have their dinner.. Madhav was sitting on the Head of the family chair , On his right Vishwanath was sitting , beside Vishwanath ,  his wife , Anuradha was sitting... On Madhav's left side the chair was empty for his wife.. beside the empty chair Sandeep was sitting.. Raghav was sitting near Anuradha.. Arohi was sitting on the dining table.. Savita and Priya were serving everyone.. as soon as the serving finished they both sat in their respective places..

Priya begins feeding Arohi , Savita nudged Madhav and eyed him to start the  " 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒕𝒂 𝑻𝒂𝒍𝒌" He nodded her and cleared his throat grabbing everyone's attention..

"Raghav beta , hame tumse kuch baat karni hai.." Madhav said

"Haan Baba boliye " Raghav nodded being completely unaware of what his Baba was saying..

" Beta hame tumhara rishta fix kar diya hain" Madhav said making everyone shocked.. Raghav choked on his food.. Arohi passed him a glass of water while Anuradha  sitting beside him patted his pack to calm him down..

"Dada yeh aap kya bol rahe hai ? , rishta fix bhi kar diya aur aapne ham mese kisiko bataya bhi nahi?" Vishwanath said being curious..

" Haa Dada yeh aapne thik nahi kiya " Anuradha said

" Haa Baba , hame nahi bataya thik hai par Raghav ko to batana chahiye tha akhir shadi use karni hai " Sandeep said in concern

" Aree aree pehle inki baat to sunlo , Aho yeh aap kya bol rahe hai , sahi se boliye na " Savita said handling the situation.

" Haa haa , Mera kehne ka matlab yeh hai ki hamne Raghav ke liye ek ladki dekhi hai to usi ladki ke pariwar se baat karne Jana hai ham sabko " Madhav said correcting his early mistake.

" Achha , Baba kab jaana hai ?" Priya asked .

" Sunday ko , unhone Sunday ko bulaya hai ladki dekhne ke liye to ham sabko Sunday ko jaana hai " Madhav said.

" Matlab,  Aajoba no. 1 Raghav Kaka ki shadi hone wali hai ?" Arohi asked , to which Madhav nodded with a smile..

" Yeahhhh Finally meri Kaku aayegi , ab dekhna Aai kaise  Main,  Kaka aur Kaku ek team mein hokar aap sabko pareshan karte hai " Arohi said clapping her hands.. " kyu hai na Kaka " Arohi said giving hi-fi to her Kaka..

" Areee Deva Pehle Yeh Kaka Bhatiji kam the jo ab Kaku bhi team mein shamil hogi" Anuradha said slapping her forehead.. everyone laughed seeing her reaction..

" Raghav beta , kya tum okay ho iss baat se , Sunday ko kuch urgent kaam to nahi na ?" Savita asked Raghav..

" Haa Aai , Sunday ko utna kaam nahi hai.. bass koi urgent patient na aa jaye.." Raghav said with a half smile..

Madhav understood his son's feelings, so he decided to talk to him alone..

~ 𝗔𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗵𝗶'𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲

Everyone was eating their dinner in silence , Shankar was waiting for the right moment to talk about the meeting...

Shankar cleared his throat..

"Kya hua Baba , aapko paani doon , lagta hai aapka gala kharab hai " Rohit said passing his Baba a glass of water..

"Tu chup kar aur chup chap apna khana kha , mera gala ekdam thik hai " Shankar said while Rohit shrugged his shoulder..

"Vaidu , beta hame tumse ek jaruri baat karni hai " Shankar said.

"Haa Baba boliye na kya baat hain , Kabse dekh rahi hoon Aai aur Aap isharo isharo mein baat kar rahe hain , koi tension wali baat hai kya ?" Vaidehi asked being concerned..

"Aree nahi nahi beta Tension wali koi baat nahi hain.. Vo to bass----" Sunanda said but was cut off by Shankar.

" Vo beta Sunday ko tumhe ladki Wale dekhne aa rahe hai " Shankar said making both the  siblings pause..

"Kya Baba , Ladki wale ??" Rohit said controlling his laugh..

"Haa Baba ladki Wale mujhe dekhne kyu aa rahe hain" Vaidehi said laughing.

"Aho yeh aap kya bol rahe hain , Vaidu beta Sunday ko tumhe LADKE Wale dekhne aa rahe hain" Sunanda said correcting Shankar..

"Ha ha vahi Ladke Wale " Shankar said.

" Aree waa achha hua varna main to darr hi gaya tha ki yeh kahi ladki se shadi na kar le " Rohit said laughing.

"Tu chup chap apna khana kha aur badmein padhai karne baith , yeh bado ki baatein hain tujhe isme bolne ki jarurat nahi" Shankar said strictly.

Rohit nodded and continued his dinner controlling his laugh..

"Beta to Sunday ko aa rahe hai vo log , tujhe koi problem to nahi na ?" Shankar asked.

" Baba mujhe kya problem hogi , ab aapne ladka dekha hai to.. achha hi hoga " Vaidehi said.

"Haa beta bohot achha ladka hai , Doctor hai Doctor, Vo bhi pediatrician hain , Aur uske ghar wale bhi bohot achhe hai , joint family hai unki " Sunanda said

" 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆" .. As soon as Vaidehi Heard this word she got excited because she always loved being in a joint family but due to problems in her family they used to live separately...

"To thik hai beta tum tayar rehna " Shankar said.

After finishing their dinner everyone left for their room.. Vaidehi went to her room and stood near the window and opened her mobile and called her Sister, her best friend Meera..

On Call :-

"Hello Vaidu " Meera said.

"Hello , Tai ( Didi)  tujhe pata hai Sunday ko mujhe dekhne ladke Wale aa rahe hai " Vaidehi said in a serious tone..

"Aree wahh yeh to achhi baat hain" Meera said genuinely being happy for her sister

"Haa achhi baat to hai par pata nahi kyu main bohot jyada nervous hoon " Vaidehi said expressing her nervousness...

"Aree Vaidehi tujhe to practice hai ladke dekhne ki , iske pehle bhi to do ladke dekh chuki hai tu " Meera said jokingly..

"Taiii.. yeh majak ka time nahi hain main seriously bol rahi hoon.. Pichli baar ki tarah na ho.. iss baar rishta ho jaana chahiye.. vaise bhi  Aai Baba pura din bass meri shadi ka tension lete rehte hai..bass unka tension ek baar dur ho jaaye.. "

" Vaidu tu tension mat le sab thik hoga aur vaise bhi tu bass 25 ki to hai.. Ab nahi hua to aage ho jaayega.. " Meera said..

" Haa par mujhse  Aai Baba ka tension dekha nahi jaa raha..." Vaidehi said sadly..

" Ho jaayega rishta tu tension mat le , vaise ladka kya karta hai , kitne saal ka hai ?" Meera asked excitedly..

" Baba keh rahe the ki vo Pediatrician hai , Bandra mein rehte hai , unki joint family hain , aur 29 saal ke hain" Vaidehi explained to her sister..

" Achhaa , Sahi hai , tu bass usse mil le aur mujhe batana ki kaisa ladka hai " Meera said

"Ha Didi, rakhti hoon " Vaidehi said and kept the call..

As Vaidehi was nervous, the same situation was happening with Raghav...

~ 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗮𝘃'𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲

Raghav was standing near the window.. He was wearing his night suit.. He was thinking about the conversation he had a while ago with his Baba.. He heard the door click and looked back and saw his Baba..

"Baba Aap yaha , aapko kuch chahiye tha " Raghav asked.

"Nahi beta , bass tumse kuch baat karni thi " Madhav said.

"Haa Baba boliye na " Raghav said.

" Beta tum thik to ho na , jabse maine rishte ki baat ki hain mujhe tum thik nahi lag rahe ho " Madhav asked in concern..

" Kuch nahi Baba bass nervous hoon" Raghav said.

“Raghav beta, itna tension kyu le raha hai? Bas ek normal baat-cheet hai, jaise tum apne doston se karte ho.” Madhav said.

“Baba… doston se baat karna easy hai, lekin yeh toh rishta hai. Pata nahi main kuch galat bol dunga toh?” Raghav said.

“Arey, galat bolne ka sawal hi nahi aata. Bas apne dil ki baat karna. Jo tum ho, wahi dikhana. Ladki ko tumhara asli roop pasand aana chahiye, na ki koi banawati version.”Madhav said.

“Par Baba, agar usse main pasand na aaya toh?” Raghav said.

“Beta, yaad rakhna… rishta tabhi tikta hai jab dono ek dusre ko samajhkar pasand karein. Agar woh tumhe pasand na kare, toh koi baat nahi. Matlab sirf yeh hai ki tumhare liye aur acchi ladki likhi hai.” Madhav explained to Raghav the importance of a relationship between a husband and his wife..

Raghav took a deep breath and says

“Hmm… theek hai Baba. Main try karunga apna best dene ka.”

“Bas wahi chahiye mujhe. Smile karke jao, apni baat honestly rakhna. Baaki sab uparwala dekh lega.” Madhav said smiling..

Ab dekhte hain yeh dono milkar kya baatein krte hain..
